TeleSpike is a wireless microelectrode recording device used to record neural activity of a test subject in normal surroundings with unrestricted movement. TeleSpike can record data from 8 electrodes, transmitting it to the host computer that can be located up to 10 meters away. It also includes a powerful processor that reduces the amount of data transmitted by applying detection and sorting algorithms.

Different Acquisition Modes
  • Display and save one continuous analog channel of your choice
  • Display and save spike shapes that crossed a trigger level set by the user for each individual channel

Amplification
  • Analog, low-noise amplifiers amplify signals from the microelectrode

Data Streaming
  • Divide the workload among several computers
  • Host computer has access to all features and can control the different parameters of the device

Supports Many Applications
  • For medium to large sized subjects, the device can be attached to a specially designed jacket
  • For larger subjects, there is also the option of mounting it on the scull with a protective cover

Compatibility
  • Various electrode types can be accommodated
  • Data can be transmitted wirelessly or through a USB mini connector that can be connected through a swivel commutator directly to the host computer
  • Files can be saved as: MAP, PLX, CED
