NeuroNav Overview
The NeuroNav-S is an intraoperative microelectrode recording (MER) system used in the localization of surgical targets for the implantation of Deep Brain Stimulators (DBS) or ablation of target structures in Movement Disorders treatment procedures. Mapping brain structures is accomplished by advancing a microelectrode (NeuroProbe) into the brain and registering the action potentials generated from various neurons in the brain. |
