Alpha Omega “AO” is a medical device company and a leading manufacturer of Microelectrode Recording equipment for Neurosurgery and Neuroscience research. AO customers include world-renowned Neurosurgeons and Neuroscientists.
Application Specialist is the entry level position at Alpha Omega Japan. The Application Specialist’s primary responsibility is maintaining customer and distributor satisfaction by providing clinical surgery support, neuroscience support, performing routine inspections on Alpha Omega equipment, and proactively addressing any customer needs. Success in this role is driven by the employee’s ability to handle case support, solve technical issues, and keep accurate records independently without constant supervision. This role reports to the Territory Manager Asia.
Responsibilities:
- Perform Clinical case support
- Perform installation and training at customer site (clinical and research)
- Execute demonstrations for costumers
- Perform equipment preventative maintenance
- Achieve regional support revenue quota
- Assist in achieving regional revenue targets
- Perform costumer support activities and maintain customer satisfaction
- Operate all Alpha Omega equipment
Qualifications:
- Bachelors or higher degree in Neuroscience, Biomedical Engineering, life Sciences, Electrical Engineering or similar.
- 3-4 years of experience in medical Device, Application Specialist- advantage
- Japanese mother tongue and high level of English- a must
- Excellent communication skills and experience working in fast pace environmentProficient in Office- CRM is an advantage
- Proficient in Office- CRM is an advantage
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs. and stand for long hours in the operating roomAbility to travel around 50% of position scope

- Position will operate in Osaka and south west Japan
